Saturday I took a bike tour of Versailles. This was something I had been looking forward to for a really long time. I had a phenomenal world history teacher in high school, and ever since it has been somewhere I have really wanted to visit. It was an all day tour and it included our train passes to Versailles. I met some wonderful people on the train, and they adopted me into their little travel groups. We first grabbed some fresh food at a local market in the village. Everything was so good, and they packaged everything to-go for our afternoon picnic. This was definetly my favorite day in Paris. The weather was PERFECT and I had so much fun! Versailles was bigger and better than anything I could have imagined. I can't get over the lavishness of the building and the beauty of the gardens. The royal life is insane.

Afterward the long day, I was so fortunate to be able to meet up with one of my really close friends who had been studying abroad in Paris. I was exhausted after the 8 hour Versailles day and we both decided to grab some groceries and go back to her place and chill. We later got gelato, but it was sincerely SO SO GOOD to just catch up and literally chill. We laughed so so hard, and I sincerely had the best time!
