Thursday we had a fieldtrip to beautiful Girona. It was gorgeous, and looked so much like how I would have imagined Venice. The field trip was entire day long and it took us about 2 hours to get there. We had two tours of the city, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Our tour guide was such a sweet lady, and had wonderful english. I was very impressed!
The Girona walls and streets date all the way back to the Roman empire. The tour was so interesting and historical! We had a break for lunch, and we went and grabbed some burgers. Girona actually boasts the very best restaurant in the world. We got some gelato from a shop of one of the three brothers who owns the famous restaurant. It was pretty tasty!
