Friday June 26th

Friday morning we had to catch an early flight to Paris. This is probably the most stressful encounter I'm yet to experience here in Barcelona. The metro starts running at 5am, and our flight left at 7:15. Basically long story short, I will never again rely on public transportation when it comes to making a flight, and from now on I will always check in the night before.I RAN through the terminal, and by the grace of God I made my flight ( I was literally saying Hail Marys while on the Bus). I still can't believe I was able to board.

There were 5 of us that went to Paris, and it was a great time. We stayed at the cutest Airbnb in an outside neighborhood of Paris. It would have been a 15 min ride from the airport, but unfortunately the Paris taxis were on strike in order to protest against Uber and Lift. So...we had to take a 1 1/2 bus and metro ride instead. Nevertheless, we were happy to arrive.

As soon as we got there, we freshened up and then went out to explore. We grabbed sandwiches and sweets from the little bakery next door and then headed out. One of the girls created a walking tour, so we just kinda went along and followed her. Paris was beautiful, and I felt it was mix of London and Italian architecture. We walked our legs off. Literally, probably walked 6-8 miles uphill and downhill. Later that night we did a biking tour of the city, which included a riverboat cruise. I also had the very best gelato of my life outside of the eiffel tower!
